I love the hunt - the pursuit of that elusive moment, the capture of human emotion and experience onto the medium of digital imagery. I love forever preserving the emotional intensity of the wedding day, the theatrical performance, or the athletic competition. The human experience is exciting and always changing, and I love being a part of it.

Over the years, my photographic interests have expanded to include architecture, performing arts, sports photojournalism, and fine art photography. I am a proud member of Professional Photographers of America, the Guild of Professional Photographers of the Delaware Valley, the Freelancers Union, and the American Guild of Musical Artists. I was honored by The Knot with designation as the "Best of Weddings" in 2011, 2012, and 2013. My photos have been published in many magazines and web sites including the New York Times, The Knot, Brides, Opera America, Classical Singer, New York Runners, and many more.

When it comes to weddings, I love sharing wedding days with happy couples, capturing each and every moment, every emotion, and preserving it forever. I like to unobtrusively capture people doing what they do best - being themselves, showing true emotions that they don't put on for the camera. I am upbeat and fun when I shoot and interact with your guests, and believe that the wedding day is the most beautiful day of your life - and I'm going to make sure your experience with me is not only the most professional, but the most FUN, you've ever had with a photographer!

With performing arts, I bring years of experience as both a performer and director to the shoot. As a former Artistic Director of a small regional opera company, I am also very aware of the marketing needs that the photographs must fulfill.

With portraiture, I absolutely love to capture the personality of my subject in ways that not just make them comfortable and happy with the photographs, but which show them how beautiful they are. I love using light, environment, and subtle (and sometimes not to subtle) direction to bring out my subject's character.

As a photographer in general, I love capturing the human experience in light and color! Photography is an art form that is still relatively young. The advent of digital photography and computing has opened up the floodgates of creativity, and I look forward to many years of creating works of art out of every day people like you and me!
